Our Impact

As we’ve learned, an effective response to the pandemic requires the support of all Canadians. Since launching our volunteer database, we’ve recruited over 7000 Canadians who are interested in using their skills to support others. We’ve matched 800 individuals to support more than 40 COVID-19 response initiatives. Collectively, they’ve worked more than 140,000 hours!

Through our COVID19 discussions sessions, we’ve been able to speak with nearly 20,000 Canadians. Our volunteer clinicians and scientists have hosted discussions about vaccines, masks, long Covid and many other pandemic related topics.

Our vision is to support Canada’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic

Our mission is to use digital tools and the power of crowdsourcing to rapidly mobilize highly skilled personnel across Canada’s diverse healthcare, research, policy, industry, and partner communities to address multiple aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our goals are to:

Serve as a reliable source of information and expertise for COVID-19 research in Canada
Support COVID-19 capacity-building in public health, research, anti-misinformation and grassroots initiatives
Provide Canadians with access to information about the COVID19 vaccinations through online kitchen table style discussions.
